No Internet?
Before calling tech support, take these steps to check your connection.
1. Is your account current? Your service may be temporarily suspended if a payment has not been received or if your card on file expired.
2. Is your equipment powered on? Ensure that the power strips are turned on, and the POE (Power of Ethernet) and wireless routers are receiving power. A green or blue light on the device indicates that it is receiving power.
3. Ensure that the cable coming into the house from the radio is plugged into the POE port on the device.
4. Still not connected? Power cycle the POE. Disconnect the POE from power source (unplug it from receptacle or power strip). After lights go out count 30 seconds before plugging it back in.
5. If you still cannot connect to the Internet after the POE restores, check that the Lan POE Ethernet cable is connected to the wireless router. Disconnect from the router and try connecting the cable directly to your computer. If you are able to access the Internet, the problem is most likely your wireless router.
